#reverb13: what's so funny?
Pee your pants funny: What was the funniest thing that happened this year? Was it funny when it happened? Or was it one of those things you laughed about later? I often describe myself as a serious person, but I can also be incredibly silly. Sometimes when we're walking through stores, M and I will try to make each other laugh by busting out some pretty funny dance moves.
M makes me laugh consistently. She sends me funny texts and terrible jokes, reminds me of funny stories or makes up a ridiculous version of a song we know.
I laughed a lot when I visited my friend, Marie, in Wisconsin this summer, but it was one of those weekends full of late-night conversations where I have no idea why what I am saying is so funny but I can't stop laughing.
When I found old tapes at my Gran's this summer that included an audio tape of me playing the piano, doing commentary and reading the news and movie reviews, my mom and I laughed so hard we couldn't breathe. It was a perfect moment, our past and present colliding, a reminder of who I was as a girl, all fire and recklessness, caught up in my pretend world, young laughter, an echo of my own.
Some other stuff I found hilarious:
Pretty much anything Jennifer Lawrence said this year, particularly in interviews with Josh Hutcherson.
Aziz Ansari's Buried Alive
Convos with my 2 year old "I'm the princess right now."
