Project Life 2012 Week Twenty-Five

Week Twenty-Five included a lot of driving, working, and getting things done. I used journaling cards from Miss Tiina and a date card from the Clementine kit. I wanted to include as many details as possible so I also added labels I had in my stash.

Using Design D  again. I don't have a lot of extras/embellishments. I found this die cut label in my stash that I affixed to Poteeka Souffle card stock using a Dear Lizzy brad. On it, I stamped a 25 for the week. Underneath is a filler card from the Turquoise kit. On it, I used Martha Stewart Road Sign Stickers. I included a scratch off ticket, from which I did not win. I turned one of the journaling cards from the Clementine kit on its side and used it as a journaling card.

We traveled to Oxford, Ohio to visit the campus of Miami University where I will teach next year. I hoped to find an apartment and see the area. I love the High Street area of Oxford near campus. There are nice park areas, one with a fountain and one area with a kind of stage, with twisted vines and nice benches. The top journaling card is a free printable from Paper Crave. I stamped yippee on a Turquoise kit card, included a photo of a chalk wall in a local restaurant and used white card stock to write a few details about High Street.

During our visit to Oxford, we visited the Art Museum, which was hosting a variety of exhibits including a Leica camera exhibit. I took all of the materials, brochures, etc and placed them in a 8 x10 page protector.

Campus Scenes. The polka dots card is from the Clementine kit. I cut a picture of one of the paintings in the 70's exhibit at the Art Museum and included it beside a journaling card from the Clementine kit.

I am struck once again by how each week presents a new opportunity to reflect, use various materials or focus on photographs. I like how each week, and sometimes each layout is its own thing. Still very much loving this project.
