The past two days I've been part of a briefing Apple does on creative professionals and tools to student success. Being able to talk to other creative people who are doing amazing things on the K12 and college level from various departments has been wonderful. This is why I love conferences: the ideas that spark, the camaraderie, the collaboration, the feeling part of something important and significant. I appreciate the perks that I have now as a professor and the potential to make things happen for my students.

I'm exhausted, though. Full of too many ideas, overwhelmingly full of thoughts. My train leaves at 8; I am hungry and I have to teach tomorrow. I wanted to be more prepared for tomorrow but I'm not sure that's gonna happen. I may have to go off the cuff, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

I am missing the season premiere of Supernatural but am DVRing it for this weekend.

I hope the train is on time.
