Fact One: I took swimming lessons when I was younger this included competitive diving lessons. Right after I first learned to dive (properly, according to the coach) the town where I lived had a series of strange weather storms which flooded a lot of the woods/forest around the country club where apparently thousands of frogs lived. With no place to go they migrated to places around the tennis courts, pool and shower areas. Some of them got into the pool but the chlorine levels killed them. I suppose this upset me because I frantically dove in to the pool to save a frog I saw at the bottom but it was already dead. Twelve years later I would tell a lover this story and write a poem about it where I said the story was a metaphor for my relationships.
